Starting over, in public

I’ve had a domain for a while and nothing much on it. That changes today.

This is the writing side. It runs on its own subdomain, has its own feed, and isn’t trying to be a resume. If you came looking for the DevOps work, that lives at the other address and always will.

What I’ll publish here

Short pieces, mostly. Some fiction, some notes-in-progress, some things that won’t go anywhere. The point of publishing daily isn’t that each one is good — it’s that the habit outlasts the mood.

How this works

Every post is a markdown file. I write it, commit it, and push. A minute later it’s live, the RSS feed has updated, and the sitemap has told Google about it. No dashboard, no login, no forgetting the password.

That’s the whole system. If it ever gets more complicated than that, something has gone wrong.
